Parachute Landing Areas
Coolum has three parachute landing areas. 1. Stumers Creek Inlet Coolum Beach North, 2. Coolum Main Beach, and 3. Sugar Fields.
Our primary landing area is Stumers Creek, as it is the biggest area and perfect in most winds. When the tides or westerly winds prevail, our secondary landing area is the Sugar Fields. We land at Coolum Main Beach on low tides in South East and North East ground winds only.
Stumers Creek Inlet, Coolum Beach North
We land on the beach at the Stumers Creek Inlet, which is 500 metres north of Coolum Main Beach.
Coolum Main Beach
We land at Coolum Main Beach on low tides in South East and North East ground winds only. The landing area is infront of the Coolum Beach Surfclub, on the beach infront of Tickle Park.
Sugar Fields
When the tides or westerly winds prevail, our secondary landing area is the Sugar Fields.
